Madden NFL 22 review Football franchise is finally trending in right direction

Since its inception in 1988, "Madden" has established itself as one of the biggest video game franchises on the planet. Over the years, fans have seen football games like "Tecmo Bowl," "NFL Blitz" and "NFL Street" rise in popularity. Still, nothing has even been in same the stratosphere as the "Madden" franchise. The dynamic combination of quarterback and quarterback appear on the cover for "Madden 22." It marks the first time that two players are on the cover of a "Madden" game since "Madden 10," when recent Hall of Fame inductee Troy Polamalu and former star were front and center. In addition, it's the second time in three years that Mahomes has been on the cover, as the Chiefs signal caller was the cover athlete for "Madden 20."Earlier in August, "Madden 22" was released for gaming consoles and there were some significant changes that the game did boast. That's certainly a welcome sight, Darius Garland Jersey as fans have been clamoring for a major renovation when it comes to "Madden" in recent years. Let's take a deep dive into the positives and negatives of the latest installment -- which I played on Xbox One -- of the world's most popular football game franchise. What I likedFranchise Mode: It is one of the most popular modes that the video game franchise has to offer and it's probably the one that I play the most. The franchise mode definitely has changed quite a bit over the game's history, but it hasn't exactly been for the better. It's definitely worth noting that franchise mode is quite a bit more involved in "Madden 22," which is a welcomed sight to see. In recent years, when you'd open up your franchise, you'd be forced to stare at your team's head coach sitting at a desk on his tablet. That's gone in this year's installment, but there are some items that stayed the same. Now there's a little bit more freedom when it comes to your coaching staff, like the "Franchise Staff" option that allows you to progre s your head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, and player personnel. There's also Talent Trees and Staff Points, which can be progre sed by meeting certain criteria throughout the season. You get staff points that you can use to purchase different growth talents for each of the coaches. For example, under head coach, you have items like "secret remedy," which you can purchase to speed up multi-week injury recovery time for players. It's an intriguing feature .One area that I would've liked to have seen some changes in the franchise mode is scouting. Much like it was last year, you can either have auto-generated rookies or download someone's draft cla s from the Madden Community. "Madden 22" will Larry Nance Jersey have a huge scouting update when the game comes out with their first big update in September, though. With that in mind, I'll reserve judgment when it comes to updating scouting, but I do question why the updated scouting wasn't ready for the game's initial launch. The Yard: This is a new game mode that was added in "Madden 21" and it's back once again. For those that are unfamiliar, it is a pickup-type football game in which you can use your created "Face of the Franchise" player in 6-on-6 play. During "Face of the Franchise," you're introduced to "The Yard" and must play in one of these games throughout the story mode. It actually makes you pick between playing in "The Yard" in a charity pickup game Dylan Windler Jersey with star in Hawaii or going to an event in New York with . This probably isn't the type of mode that you're going to spend hours playing, but it's a cool option to have if you're looking to get away from your run-of-the-mill Madden mode. What I Didn't LikeFace of the Franchise: Career modes are something that has become insanely popular in various sports video games in recent years. I'm a huge fan of the career modes in games like "NBA 2K," and EA Sports' "NHL" series. "Face of the Franchise" has undergone changes over the past few installments. One of the interesting additions is the fact that you can create a linebacker in "Madden 22." That wasn't something that you were able to do in the past.Much like the last two installments, players start off by playing in two College Football Playoff games, regardle s of which college you choose to attend. In past installments, you were forced to play an entire high school season, which became repetitive. This year, after you play the two College Football Playoff games, that's it. You don't end up participating at the Scouting Combine. However, you still end up a high draft pick and there's not much logic involved. For example, my player was a quarterback and was drafted with the top pick by the . Now with already on the roster, why would the Jaguars select another signal caller? I'd just appreciate a little more logic from the game in terms of the selection proce s. "Face of the Franchise" is definitely improved, but I still believe that it could much more realistic and fun, like other sports gaming franchises have done.
